Why I’m learning BSL

For a long time, I’ve believed BSL should be part of mainstream school curriculum. My partner’s nephew is deaf, his brother is also deaf in one ear, and our daughter has recently had hearing issues, which inspired me to begin learning BSL. I am surprised and relieved at how quickly I’ve taken to it. It think it will be a very beneficial skill.
