Hi all, my name is Tayo and learn something new every month to keep me busy in a less rigid way than my usual STEM job and after doing a psychology course I’d like to learn BSL. I started a week ago but then I realised I’d need someone to practice onlinewith to accelerate my learning and maybe just allow me practice more as I’m doing this mainly because I want to be that person in the room able to mediate if there’s ever need for it and make sure people in the non hearing community feel included, as it’s not something taught in school(I believe it should be).

Hi I am new and just started learning. I need some guidance about the centres in London where I can meet up with people who are interested in learning and can do some practice. Many thanks and excuse for my language

Hello there ⭐️ my name is Roxana and I’m in London on Wednesdays and free from 4pm and would love to practice some BSL. I’m currently doing a BSL level one in Norfolk and want to practice!

Hello

 

I have just registered on Signature to guide me through my part time, Saturday morning BSL, L1 course. Most of the class is half my age and prefer to practice all over London and What's App. The college does not offer a year 2 buddy / peer support. We are advised to practice using YouTube or apps. But these tools do not offer reflective learning .

Does anyone know what difference between  the BSL Homework 1, 2 & 3 ?

All three BSL Homework are priced differently but the description suggest they offer the same

I may purchase the cheapest

      Hi (this is months later but anyway) I'm a BSL starter so not at all reliable! But here's a go on first phrases (WHICH MAY BE VERY WRONG!) Hi. Name me what?  - Ann. Age me what?  - 27. Work me what?  - bar tender [I don't know that sign  - maybe 'pub' 'help'?? Learn me what M-A therapy (I don't know the sign). Live me where?  E-S-S-E-X (or https://www.signbsl.com/sign/essex). Arrived by car 30 minutes.  sister name what?  - Maya, age her what? 30,  she lives (lives she??) where?  - London.

      An inclusive environment starts with the space itself, at least for me. People need to feel comfortable, seen, and able to communicate without the room working against them. That is why I think privacy and calm matter so much when you rent a space for business philly. A dedicated studio gives you more control over how clients, students, or collaborators experience the work from the moment they arrive.

      hi im denim im 18 years old and im a support worker for adults with complex learning and physical disabilities. im refreshing my brain on BSL to support service users at the home im employed at to be able to communicate with those who need it effiecently and effectively. :)

      Our popular 'BSL Level 1 Summer Intensive' course is back. This year, our intensive courses will be held three days per week for four weeks, starting on Tuesday, 28th July and finishing on Thursday 20th August. Classes will be conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11am to 4pm.       Hi everyone, I’m new to this group & I would love to find someone to practice with. I’m learning BSL level one & I don’t have anyone to practice with, my confidence is low when signing because of it. I’m learning because I’ve always wanted to & think it’s important to do so. I have just failed my 1st exam so confidence is even lower, I don’t want to let myself down or the deaf community. I can do this!!! Is there anyone who can help? Thank you & I hope to find friends

      I’ve always liked builds that already have a story built into them, and the Firehouse is one of those sets that feels like it deserves more than plain shelf space. That is why the lego ghostbusters firehouse light kit catches my eye. Once the lights are on, the whole model feels more like a real late night scene instead of just a finished build. I’m curious whether other people here like adding lighting to display sets or prefer to leave them untouched.
