I am learning as I am currently a support worker and think having basic knowledge of BSL could allow me to support more people especially those of who have hearing difficulties. Also because I very recently seen a BSL conversation in the supermarket and found it so interesting and I thought it would be something I wish I could do!

I have been wanting to do this for a very long while. Since I was 17 (now 35) and I think it will help in my current role as a shop assistant and helping my customers and understand them better. But I have always wanted a job with the Deaf community. I think it would be very fulfilling and very rewarding to know you have helped someone when others don't communicate well or talk too fast.

This sounds brilliant for yourself... how are you finding the assessments?
