  1. Hey all! I took ASL for four years in high school. I got to be good friends with my teacher, who is deaf, and that gave me lots more opportunity to use ASL. Since I've gone off to college a couple years ago, we chat less and less as we get busier and I feel some frustration at having lost/forgotten some signs. I want to keep up my skills. I started an ASL club at my college with a peer who has Usher's syndrome and is part of the Deaf/blind community, but as we are teaching beginners, I'm still looking for people to sign with. I would really love to video chat. I miss this language a ton. Nice to meet you all!
  2. Hello!! I'm Katie! A long time ago, may be three years ago, I was involved in an interpreting program. But I realized that the program was not a good fit for me personally. I stepped down, transferred schools, and I actually just graduated from the University of Redlands in California. Now I want more practice with sign because my skills have suffered a lot from not practicing; it has been a long time since I've signed with anyone who also knows ASL. So I'm really excited to meet ASL students, Deaf, and other members of the signing community. Thanks!!
  3. Hello! I'm Mikyla. I've wanted to learn sign language for the longest time but, as the title suggests, I'm quite lost. I've considered trying to get in touch with the signing community in my area, however I'm not necessarily aquainted with anyone. To be honest, I'd really like to practice with someone or just have someone teach me about the community and such. I'd really love to learn more.
  4. Hello! My name is Andy, and I've been looking for a website where I could connect with more people who sign and/or deaf people! I'm fifteen years old and have been practicing sign since I was ten. I want to be an interpreter in the medical field, and have always wanted to be some sort of interpreter. I have two dogs, one is a Shiba Inu named Gracie, and one is a mutt named Elvis. I currently live in Central PA, and would love to get to know some people in this community. I'm the youngest of three boys, and the only one who knows ASL in my family. Please feel free to text me!
  5. Hello everyone! My name is Tara and I am from California. I am a college student who is taking ASL as my second language requirement. It's nearing the end of my second year, and as the summer approaches, I am scared that I will forget my signs! ASL is a beautiful language so I came here to make sure I retain my knowledge and get better at conversation! I only have a year of experience with ASL but I am very eager to learn and practice with others, no matter your skill level. Please message me if you would like to chat! I am in my final weeks of college so I won't be available for the next couple weeks but I will be free all summer! Maybe around mid June so I'd like to meet as many of you as possible so I can practice with many different signing styles. Looking forward to getting to know you all! P.S. -- I will have my "oral" exam for ASL in a couple weeks so if any of you want to help me practice, I would be very grateful!

  7. Hi! I’m 14 and I’m new to asl but I’d love to make a deaf friend or a hearing friend to practice asl with and have a conversation! I want to learn more asl and be able to use this new, beautiful language. Reply if you want to chat with me!
  8. I'm Jayson 19 , hearing and I'm learning ASL... I would love people to practice with preferably around my age. Feel free to say hi. I want deaf friends or friends who can help me improve and help me learn
  9. Hi everyone, I’m Kinsey. I’ve been learning for about 3 years now, self taught and then two classes. I have a couple friends who are deaf and HOH, as well as a family friend who is an interpreter that I have learned from. I think ASL is a beautiful language with a fascinating culture and I plan to peruse a career involving it.
