Hello! My name is Samantha Carstairs and I am a University student living in the Netherlands, but originally from Texas. I started learning ASL when I was 9 years old because one of my friends was deaf, but then I switched schools and I lost most of my vocabulary. Over the past few months, I have been studying on my own and have made decent progress, but I would love to video chat with people in ASL to improve my proficiency.

I'm excited to be joining this community. If anyone would like to video chat in ASL, I would be more than happy.
