That’s a great reason to start learning ASL. Having a practice partner would definitely help, especially with getting more comfortable with reading signs and keeping up with a real conversation. It’s also nice that you want to learn because you’ve had situations where communication was difficult. Just keep practicing and don’t worry about being perfect at the beginning—everyone starts somewhere. spin mama -
