Hey everyone, I just learned how to sign "I have (colour) eyes", but I could not find the sign for "hazel" anywhere and I was wondering how I would sign that this is my eye colour? Thanks in advance!

Have a look at the fingerspelling alphabet on the fingerspelling tab at the top. From there, learn the letters that make Hazel. Some words don't have specific signs for them. Normally nouns. Hope this helped!

To sign "Hazel" in British Sign Language (BSL), you can use the following steps:

  1. Start with your dominant hand: Make the letter "H" sign by extending your thumb and index finger, forming a "V" shape, while the other fingers are curled in.

  2. Place your hand near your face: Position the "H" handshape close to your face, with the palm facing inward.

  3. Move the hand downward: Gently move the "H" handshape down once, as if you're indicating the letter "H" in a subtle movement.

This is a general way to sign "Hazel," but keep in mind that sign names are often personalized and can vary depending on the region or community. If you're learning BSL for a specific person or context, they may have a custom sign name.
