Hi everyone. I hope this topic is where it's supposed to be.

Let me introduce myself,

My name is Pierre and I am currently working on a signing avatar for my research project. The avatar signs train announcements in British Sign Language. The idea is that it would be kind of a phone app or a terminal in a train station. I am partially deaf and I started learning BSL recently, so I know I still have much to learn in order to improve the avatar signing  (and my own). If you could answer the following questionnaire I would be very grateful.

Do not hesitate to write a comment at the end of the questionnaire, that would help me improving my BSL knowledge.

Thank you very much :)

    • Hi  everyone, this is my first post on the forum.  I work as part of the Front of House Team in a theatre and I am interested in learning some sign language to be able to communicate more easily with the many members of the deaf community who come to the theatre. So far I am doing ok in the comfort of my own home but under pressure I get flustered.  Does anyone else find the same problem? I think a lot is down to constant repetition and practice.
    • Hello everyone 🙂 I'm Layne. I am about to take my BSL202 and BSL203 at the start of next week 😬 I luckily passed BSL201 last week 😌 I am based in India so it is tricky to find people to practice with. If anyone is up super early in the UK and looking for someone to converse with I am 5.5 hours ahead so will be around! Thank you 🙏
