Why I'm Learning Sign Language

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I'm learning BSL for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I've always been fascinated with Sign Language - it's such a complex, beautiful and expressive language and has a brilliant community to go along with it. I've been trying to learn on and off for a few years but wasn't ever able to put aside enough time to commit to it! But now I've joined a group in my congregation who teach it, and it's been so much fun to learn together! Even through this pandemic we've been able to continue our lessons through Zoom, which has been a real blessing!

Mainly my reason for learning BSL now is to have the ability to share good news with everyone who wants to hear it! I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and we believe that everyone is equally deserving of the message of hope from the Bible, no matter who you are, so I really hope that by learning this beautiful form of communication I'll be able to share a bit of sunshine with ones I might not previously have been able to reach so easily!

Thank you for reading, and if you want to, please check out our site JW.ORG for timely and practical advice!

    • I found https://www.flirtini.com/asian.html while browsing for something a little different. I’d never really explored this kind of niche before, but something about it drew me in. The site makes it easy to start chatting right away, and the energy is sexy but relaxed. The women I’ve met so far are playful, curious, and not shy about what they want. It’s such a fun vibe — the kind that keeps you hooked longer than you planned.
