'Hello' from a very new signer...

Hey, my name is Amy and i've started learning BSL because I have always wanted to learn! And the previous lockdown finally gave me a little time to do so. I don't think it is nearly centralised enough within schools and generally in life. I'd like to be a tiny part of that change if I can be.

My primary job is being an actress and have always wanted to incorporate BLS in to it at some point, weather that be a piece I create or eventually translate. 

I'd love to be contact with like minded people and practice all the new things i'm learning and hold me accountable so I can learn (and do it well!) :) x

Hi Amy, I'm in exactly the same boat! 

Sounds like we have a lot in common. Not sure I can help much with learning as I'm very much a newbie too, but I'll be cheering you on all the way and here if you ever wanted to try out some amateur conversation with someone!

As a teacher of pupils who use BSL this is really helpful and having people to practice with outside of work would be amaze!
