I have been put into situations where I observed sign language users and my intuition always told me to learn it myself. I do not know why I need it right now, but I trust my instinct and I feel it will be useful for me in the future. I would like to work with SEN children and it might be a useful addition to know BSL. I have some valuable qualities like great body language reading skills, and I already communicate using lots of gestures and facial expressions and I think those things can also help me to become a good BSL user.
