Hello, I started learning BSL as I am a Vet nurse and since COVID 19, I have had to wear full PPE and even hearing people struggle to understand what I am saying to them. I want to be able to communicate with everyone and aid the hearing impaired during this difficult time

Hiya, I am learning BSL as my daughter who is 18 months old is deaf and wears bilateral hearing aids. I wanted to learn sign language in order to teach her it as she grows so we have a form of communication when she is not wearing her aids for example in the bath, or in the pool (whenever that may be again due to covid lol ).

      Thank you! I'll be enrolling in the online course offered on British Sign. I've not done it yet as I'm currently enrolled in a French course which finishes in 3 weeks. Then, when I'm back in the UK, I'll see how I can step up my learning. I guess there's no substitute for real-life, real-time human practice. Can't wait to get stuck in.
