I have always been fascinated by anyone who can sign and always wanted to learn. I was diagnosed with tinnitus and some hearing loss around 6/7 years ago and was fitted with hearing aids. I tried to pick up BSL with youtube videos but they just teach words. There is no structure to their videos. Signed up straight away when I found this course. It will also help in the future too as I am starting uni in September to be a teacher.

  I definitely think that schools should teach non-verbal communication to all students to some extent, for inclusivity of people like your son avsamp and because any level of any language is a great skill! I've been teaching lots of my friends the BSL finger alphabet

  I am doing my Duke of Edinburgh certification at the moment and need to learn a new skill for it. I chose to learn sign language because it's something I've never learnt before and I love languages, I think any language is an amazing skill to have.
