Learning BSL as a valuable life skill

Hello! I'm a 20 year old student who picked up BSL a few months ago. I don't have any friends or family who are deaf/hard of hearing however for the past year I have been wanting to learn BSL. I honestly cannot say what exactly pushed me to start learning I guess I think it's a valuable life skill to have. I noticed that with the requirement to wear masks knowing BSL would come in handy. Most of all, if I meet someone who prefers to communicate in BSL I would love to be able to do that for them.
