Hello all,
I'm a newbie to BSL, and looking forward to learning a new language. I learned Makaton and was a teacher for children with SEN/D for a number of years. My grandmother taught me how to fingerspell when I was quite young- and its great to revise the skill.

I am a student nurse and I feel I should know more than just spoken and written English. I would like to be able to communicate better with any patients I have in the future who use BSL themselves. My children get taught some signing at school so I should also be learning so I can help them learn further.
Hello all,
I am student nurse and I think that having some knowledge of BSL is important incase some of my patients use it themselves. It will help me build a better relationship with them I feel.
Hi all! I know a few people who are deaf so I signed up for a BSL course at my local center so I can communicate better with them. It's not easy! But love it
