Hi, I am learning BSL because I have a pupil in my nursery class who is profoundly deaf and we are teaching her BSL with the support of Sensory Support advisors. I am a Primary school teacher and at present I teach nursery and reception class. I am teaching the class signs in order to communicate in simple terms in BSL with each other and they are doing really well! I teach in Wales and the new Welsh Curriculum has BSL as a learning objective within the curriculum as of September 2022. I would really like to develop my skills in BSL over the coming years. Claire
