I’m having difficulty accessing the live chats to practice, is this because I’m using an iPad instead of a computer

Hi,

I have never actually used the chatrooms themselves but I don't think they are ever very busy. If you would like to practise and have skype or zoom I would be happy to connect with you so that you can do this.

I am on Level 1 BSL so would be helpful for myself as well.

😁

Don’t know if it was me you were messaging, I found it difficult to navigate the forum, but if you’re up for it that would be great Faith!
I should warn you I’m an absolute beginner, on module 4 and very very slow!

If you would still like to zoom, let me have a time and code to suit? I can do more or less any time Saturday, not going anywhere!

Kind regards Hilda Littlewood

I have progressive hearing loss and at present wear hearing aids in both my ears, my early life was in the Royal Artillery and I also play the saxophone (no surprises why I'm losing my hearing!). As I have been informed that I will continue to lose my ability to hear I thought I best start learning BSL now. My daughter is learning with me, so hopefully we'll be able to help each other along and practice what we l
    • Hi I am Vicky.  I decided to do the introduction to sign language course mainly as learning a new skill that may be useful in the future. However I also work in education as a teacher so it may be useful if I ever work with students with hearing impairments.
