Hello, I am learning BSL because Iāve been intrigued by it for a few years and have enjoyed teaching my toddler some simple signs for better communication over the last year.
Hi, I am currently a student that is trying to become a Physical Education teacher. My reason for learning sign language is because I have had students that are D/deafĀ and I would love to communicate better with them without the use of external help. Also I have some family members that are losing their hearing or lost it so I would also still love to communicate with them as well. I have only just started but very excited to learn and develop my knowledge furtherĀ Ā
Hi there,
Ā
The reason I have decided to learn BSL is that I want to work in healthcare and with the cochlear implant, and therefore want to make sure I can use it and make my patients comfortable.Ā
Hi, I support children in school who have an hearing impairment. Love my job. I have my Level 1 and 2 of BSL and doing my Level 3 (which is hard). I am on here to practice and improve, and of course to meet all of you who are interested.Ā
I'm involved in HE, both student and tutor, although very matured š¶āš«ļø. My reasons for starting to learn BSL are mainly two. First, I have a colleague who is very proficient and she has been helpful to several people in her use of BSL, I would like to be able to help too. Also, it enhances me in working with people. I have only just begun, but sometime soonĀ it'd be good to practice. I shall come back and check if anyone else wants to practice when I've progressed further.
