Well done Stephen! Me too (almost). I took voluntary redundancy/retired last year to do more BSL  but found I needed to go back to some part-time work this year (cost of living etc!). Really enjoying the signing though and it's certainly a challenge for us oldies. 🙂

Hi Rhoda,

Thanks for the message of support and sorry to hear you have had to go back into part time work.

I did my first bit of actual signing on Saturday in the pub with the son of a mate, his son is partially deaf and signs - i think he appreciated the effort even though i wasn't that good but the look of amazement on his Dad's face and the rest of the lads was encouragement enough for me to persevere.

Keep it going Rhoda and i will even let you off for referring to us as "oldies"

    • Hey everyone, I was feeling a bit restless one night and started searching online to see if I could find a quick thrill nearby. That’s when I stumbled upon a profile suggesting I could find a girl for sex near me, and it piqued my curiosity enough to explore further. Signing up was simple, and I immediately noticed how active people were—no waiting days for a reply. I soon got into a flirty conversation that escalated naturally, and it felt exhilarating knowing we were both upfront about wanting

    • I am have just finished the introduction to BSL course on this site. I found it very useful and with a group of others, who I did either or both a Lipreading/ a different 10 weeks introduction to BSl face to face courses, we are practising the lessons together at a weekly meet up. We are currently focusing on lesson 3 and also recapping the others. We are having fun learning together and building our confidence.
    • Hi  My partner, Ken,  and I, Jules, initially did a Lipreading course and then started learning BSL with ‘Amy of Smartsigns BSL’ in an introduction to 10 session course earlier this year. My partner’s hearing was gradually getting worse and he was feeling more and more isolated in social situations, so it seemed a good idea. More recently we decided, along with some of those on the Lipreading/ BSL Smartsigns courses, to do the course offered by this site and practice together so we would im
