Who we are looking for: native signers of BSL, aged 18 – 40, resident in the UK

Duration of participation: 2 hours

Location: ONLINE via Zoom, from the comfort of your own home!

Remuneration: £15 per hour

NB: This study is ethically approved by Northeastern University London.

      Hi everyone. Name me what, Jeff. I've been basic signing for about 10 years now after getting a basic lesson from the company that I used to work for. My aim now, is to become fully competent within BSL and gain a qualification, and then look for any kind of employment that relates to BSL.

      Hello everyone. I am incredibly new to BSL (I've had one class at introductory level so far but I intend to pursue). I am 48 and I am experiencing some hearing loss but really I want to learn to sign to give myself more communication options and to be able to communicate with as many people as I can.

      Hello! I am very new here and I would like recommendations of online BSL courses where I can learn online in the evening. Cost isn’t an issue but it needs to be money well spent.  For context, am a lifelong hearing aid wearer with no BSL knowledge apart from finger spelling the alphabet… slowly.    Thanks in advance.
