U don’t have to have a certificate in every level to get to level 6. You could do training courses instead which works out a lot less.

Hi all, Thought i'd just make a post to say hello! I recently started the online sign language course as I was on furlough from work for a month and thought it would be a really useful skill to pick up - I've since started to work from home again so have put the course on the back-burner a bit. I'm determined to make sure I stick with it as I have enjoyed the lessons I've done so far, so if anyone would like to practise together at all, please drop me a message as the pressure of talking with someone would definitely motivate me! 😂 James

Hello - my name is Izabela and this is my first time on this Forum. Why am I learning BSL? I am a linguist and if money was no object, I would do nothing else but study languages. BSL fascinates me, as it is nothing like I have ever learnt before. I am intrigued by its nuances, grammar, syntax… Sorry, this is a little bit of a passion of mine!

Sign is always something that I have been very much interested in... I am really enjoying the learning and only wish that I had started it sooner. I feel that it is so important that we are inclusive and I would love to be able to have some of the skills to communicate on another level...

Hi I have always had an interest in learning BSL so now that I finally have the time I decided to go for it! I am hopefully going to be a primary school teacher so I think that knowing even a small amount of BSL would be really useful in making sure all the children at a school feel included
