I'm learning BSL because I work with a very wide and varied community of people on a regular basis and often have encountered D/deaf customers. I want to be able to give 100% to all the customers I interact with/volunteer with and by learning BSL I can actively be more inclusive. I also seek to represent marginalised groups in my creative writing, and I want to be accurate with how I incorporate sign language in my work.1 point
