Hi, I'm the father of a wonderfully bright, amazing 8 yo who  is deaf and uses a combination of ASL and spoken language to communicate. While he learns ASL at an amazing rate, my swiss cheese brain can't keep up with him. He will stump me with signs that I don't recognize, but I desperately want to understand. The attached video is the sign that he used today. If anyone can help me learn what the sign means, I would be very grateful.

    • Hi everyone, My name is Cassandra Nesbitt, and I just started learning ASL. It was one of my goals for this year, and my career goal is to work in Social Work or Youth Development. I know I will be meeting diverse people. Plus, I have fallen in love with learning languages, and learning ASL is so fun and easy once you have the right mindset. In addition, I joined this community in hope to make new friends and get more practice with signing. I look forward to interacting with all of you.
