Hi, my name is Ruth, I am profoundly deaf in one ear and hard of hearing the other. I am a Specialist Deafblind Worker for the areas, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire for the company Deafblind Enablement. I carry out Specialist Assessments for Deafblind needs, making sure their rights are upheld, they have access to information, their independence is enabled and they have assistance with their mobility. I'm currently learning BSL for better communication with -
I would also really love a bsl buddy I’ve just started learning sign language for DofE but also for fun so i would love a friend to practice with!! -

Hello, I am learning BSL because I’ve been intrigued by it for a few years and have enjoyed teaching my toddler some simple signs for better communication over the last year. -
Hi, I am currently a student that is trying to become a Physical Education teacher. My reason for learning sign language is because I have had students that are D/deaf and I would love to communicate better with them without the use of external help. Also I have some family members that are losing their hearing or lost it so I would also still love to communicate with them as well. I have only just started but very excited to learn and develop my knowledge further -

Hi, I support children in school who have an hearing impairment. Love my job. I have my Level 1 and 2 of BSL and doing my Level 3 (which is hard). I am on here to practice and improve, and of course to meet all of you who are interested. -
I'm involved in HE, both student and tutor, although very matured 😶🌫️. My reasons for starting to learn BSL are mainly two. First, I have a colleague who is very proficient and she has been helpful to several people in her use of BSL, I would like to be able to help too. Also, it enhances me in working with people. I have only just begun, but sometime soon it'd be good to practice. I shall come back and check if anyone else wants to practice when I've progressed further. -
hi there, im learning bsl (i'm doing my level 1 soon to be level 2 i hope) i'm looking for someone who might be willing to have a conversation with me , just so i can get the practise in? i'm not perfect and i am happy to take corrections too, i'm just looking for the practise! thank you, vampirexx -
