  1. Hello I have just joined, and I am keen to learn BSL. I am currently doing the 'Introducing British Sign Language' via british-sign.co.uk I am keen to learn, and after the above course, I would like to enrol on a Level 1 BSL online programme, the trouble is, there are so many when I research, what one is 'the one?' Would also like to virtually meet up once a week to practice too.

  2. Hello, my name is Ricky, I am 41yo and have been experiencing hearing difficulties for the last couple of years. As I have been relying more and more on lip reading and subtitles, I thought the time was right to start learning BSL. I am thoroughly enjoying it so far and am looking forward to developing my skills over time. Thanks!

  3. My name is Zowie, I am a 35 year old mum from sunny Barry. My mother taught me fingerspelling as a child and I have always had a desire to learn BSL properly. Now that my children are older, I am finding time for everything I have been putting off to put them first.

  4. Hi, I'm hard of hearing with single sided hearing loss, have been since birth. I went under the radar for support due to a bad doctor, so I've been raised in a majority hearing world, both my parents are hearing. I also happen to have ADHD and BSL is becoming my current hyperfocus : ) it's been nice to learn more about this language.

  9. Hi guys, so I’ve took three assessments so far and got 20/20 for every one first attempt apart from the places. im just wondering if anyone has any tips on remembering signs. I know the common ones now and recognise the signs in assessments but I have a hard time trying to remember signs for certain things now, didn’t know if anybody has the same problem and how you go about remembering every sign ?
