  1. Are there any updates on this, as to whether it will be incorporated into the GCSE's? If so when as we are a few years on and there is still no BSL lessons at schools? Thank you Suzie x

    Hello

Hi, Bilbo, I agree it is good. x
  3. That is awesome you have someone to train with, I test my little knowledge of BSL with my 7yr old nephew, he has hearing difficulties and he learns from his friends. I totally agree all schools should teach this, maybe as one of the language choices they have (if children still have choices now, it has been a long time since I was at school). x
  4. I am loving it to, I do have issues with being a slow learner but it is so exciting x
  5. Thank you Lizzy, I am shocked it has not been added into the curriculum as a choice in language yet but hopefully it soon will be. If enough people raise awareness.
  6. Is this still happening Please as would like to practice some sign language, please?
  7. I find BSL fascinating and have wanted to learn it for many years but thought I was not good enough, or could not afford the lessons. BSL gave me an opportunity and I took advantage of it, this will help me better communicate with my niece and nephew who are both hard of hearing. I believe BSL should be taught in school as can create a more inclusive environment, especially if certain schools have hard-of-hearing students.
  8. Hi, I am a counselling and psychotherapy student. I find BSL fascinating, I do struggle with learning new things, but learning BSL has been important to me as my niece and great-nephew both are hard of hearing. I also feel it is a great topic which should be taught at school from a young age, which could support more children with inclusivity.
