Hi all,

I'm 58 and just started learning ASL this year.  I hoping to prove that you can teach an old guy new tricks.

I would love someone to practice signing with one or more people who also would like to practice.  Please let me know if you are interested.

Hello Ronald,

This is a beginners attempt to say:

I''m learning ASL because my  daughter is learning ASL and will be teaching my grand daughter ASL in 2 months.  I'm excited.

Hi Rose,   This is what I TRIED to sign.

I’d like to practice ASL with you.  What is your best time to practice?  Morning? Night?  Which?  I work nights until Friday

I can also see I need to adjust my camera.  Hopefully after I get a chance to sign with someone a little more often, I will become a little more fluent.

Thanx!

Angelo

    • Bad choice of words my apologies. Strike “them”.
    • My name is Giuseppe. I found this forum to learn ASL and converse regularly. I’ve had a few encounters and felt bad that I could not communicate with them other writing on paper.    When in college I “ “ heard if you don’t use the knowledge of what you learned in 6 months you lose it 🙂 I’m hear to learn  from you all any day.
